Did you know…
*Cats that are abandoned must contend with horrible conditions and problems that result in a slow and painful death. These include:
starvation, dehydration, the elements, disease, predators, injuries, accidents, not to mention the loneliness, stress and fear of being alone and in unfamiliar surroundings.
*Feral cats are the offspring of stray or abandoned domestic cats who revert to the wild state. Raised without human contact, they become fearful of humans.
*Feral and abandoned cats live an average of only 2 years.
*One mating pair of cats can produce 420,000 offspring in 7 years! Think of all of those helpless kittens born in the wild where only 1 in 5 will survive. Please spay and neuter your pet.
*Cats can be spayed/neutered at 8 weeks of age. Talk to your Vet for more information.
